Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Software Engineering

Software engineering is a fast growing and varied industry with increasing numbers of jobs available both at home and abroad. In addition, there is a serious shortfall in the number of good software graduates available to meet the needs of industry. The BEng in Software Engineering focuses on the practical skills required by industry now and prepares the student to adapt to the changing needs of industry. TUS has offered a variety of computing/software engineering courses since the early 1980s. The focus of the institute is to develop courses that meet the ongoing demand from industry for technical expertise regionally, nationally and internationally. TUS has also facilitated students in developing their careers by providing a suite of high-quality qualifications ranging from higher certificate to doctoral level.
