MA in Accounting

This MA is a designed to prepare accounting and general business graduates with an accounting specialisation for entry into the accountancy profession. The programme earns generous exemptions from Chartered Accountants Ireland, in that they gain exemption from the CAP 2 series of examinations, and from CPA Ireland, who offer graduates exemptions from 11 out of the 15 examination papers through their FastTrack programme. Graduates of this programme enjoy excellent employment prospects; the vast majority qualify as accountants within two years of graduation and rise to senior executive level in the public or private sectors.
