Bachelor of Science Agriculture

Agriculture is of major importance in the Irish economy. The agri-business sector has been identified as a major sector for growth in the coming years across a range of associated industries. The students attend both MTU and Teagasc Clonakilty Agricultural College throughout the course. In year 1, students typically spend two days a week in Teagasc Clonakilty Agricultural College and three days in MTU Bishopstown Campus. In year 2, students typically spend two days a week in Teagasc Clonakilty Agricultural College and three days in MTU Bishopstown Campus. In year 3, students typically spend five days a week in MTU Bishopstown Campus.
