Professional Kinesiology (MPK)

The Master of Professional Kinesiology (MPK) is the first graduate program of its kind designed to train students as leading practitioners in the healthcare system. Students will acquire an advanced understanding of the latest evidence-based research to improve function, health and wellness in diverse populations. The MPK program builds on the strengths of the Department of Kinesiology and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at Brock University. It encompasses innovative lecture and lab-based coursework, professional development courses, and a unique opportunity for internship placements with diverse populations across the lifespan. An in-depth comprehension of kinesiology and all its relevant disciplines is required; the MPK program will build on these competencies to achieve high-level knowledge and practical competencies.
